As believers, we want to have a perspective on how God sees through the history and bring judgement on prideful people at the right timing. Last time, I mentioned that God brought judgment on Northern Israel, who became prideful and continued to sin. At that time, the Assyrian army was sent by God to bring judgement. It was because the Northern Israel neither seek the Lord Almighty, nor repented of their sins (9:13). That is the perspective

And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”」Luke 15:8-10 NIV 1. In Luke chapter 15, there are three parables written in series that the Lord Jesus spoke about. Today, we’d like to search and receive the message
No purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Today, we would like to learn from the Old Testament book of Job. From his life, we would like to think about a life that depends on God, and to believe in God’s providence. Today’s message is from Job 42: 2,「No purpose of yours can be thwarted.」Last time, I mentioned about the perseverance of Job. James 5:11 says,「..You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.」Job never found out the reason why he had to go through suffering. However, he realized through suffering that he was alive in God’s providence. Providence is a theological term that
